About Recreational Divisions
K-2nd Divisions Co-Ed
Instructional basketball fundamentals & skills taught in a fun format. This season we will be offering a 6 week program for K-1st. 2nd grade will be an 8 week program. The division will be boys and girls.
Kindergarten will be the start of the program and then 1st grade will be the next level of clinics.
Rims will be lowered to 8 feet for K-1st, 9 feet for 2nd Grade. The K-1st athletes will use a 25.5 inch ball and 2nd Grade will use 27.5. This division is held at Evans or Jaggard on a weekly basis. Fundamental Hoops will work with our teams.
Each player will receive a Marlton Basketball t-shirt, and at the end of the season a participation trophy.
5th-6th Grade Boys & Girls Divisions
Games and practices. Practice one day a week at various gyms starting December 2nd. Ball size is 28.5 and we use 10ft height baskets. Teams will be assigned. We will attempt to honor requests as much as possible.
Season ends on or about March 8th. Boys & Girls Divisions.
3rd/4th Grade Boys & Girls Divisions
The objective in the 5th-6th Grade Divisions (Boys & Girls) is to provide a positive environment for the boys to learn the fundamentals of the game in both practices and games. Practice one day a week and games during the week and weekend. Practices will begin December 2nd and run through Sunday March 8th. Ball size is 28.5 rims regulation height. This is an open draft division and we cannot honor requests.
7th-8th Grade Boys & Girls Divisions
The objective in the 7th-8th Grade Division is to provide a positive environment for the boy and girls to learn the fundamentals of the game in both practices and games. Practice one day a week and games during the week and weekend. Practices will begin December 2nd and run through Sunday March 9th. Ball size is 28.5 rims regulation height. This is an open draft division and we cannot honor requests.
High School Boys & Girls
Games only. We use regulation ball and basket height. Playoffs and Championship game. Practices in December games being first Sunday in 2025. Open draft so we cannot honor requests.
Girls Division includes teams from Medford & Mt. Laurel.
